Both the 1/2 Bushel and Bushel plans allow you to receive a fresh basket of produce from our farm every week. The rates are figured on 27 weeks of delivery, even though it is a 28 week season. Matthew and I have decided to have the option of 1 non-delivery week around the end of June or first of July, so as this date approaches all of our members will be kept up-dated on if this will occur, and if it does not then you will be given the option to pay for an extra CSA pick-up when that week occurs.
Whether you choose the ½ Bushel plan or Bushel plan, to help in the cause of not generating paper waste, you will be supplied with 2 baskets according to your plan. Your last name will be written on the baskets and we will rotate those 2 baskets for the whole season. At the end of the season, you will get to keep your baskets. Then you can re-use them again, if you choose to sign up for our 2010 CSA season. If you were a 1/2 bushel member in 2008, you will already have your baskets for re-use in this 2009 CSA season, which also means you do not have to pay for new baskets!
Secondly, you will choose which pick-up site you prefer:
#1.) In the Whitland/West End Ave./I-440 area, at Elmington Park, every Wednesday from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
#2.) At Our Farm, located 9 miles South of Leipers Fork on Leipers Creek Road in Bethal, every Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
On Farm pick-ups would be ideal for folks in Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Leipers Fork area, or southwestern Williamson County, as we are located in the tip of Northwestern Maury County.
***Our share plans are limited and are on a first registration-first serve basis, so please sign up as early as possible! We will announce on our website when we fill-up to our desired maximum CSA share member capacity.
Then, you can sign up by filling out the CSA registration form, which is found on the web-site under CSA registration. You can fill this form out by highlighting the text and copying and pasting this to either a new e-mail or to Microsoft Word. If you choose to paste the form to a new e-mail, then you will be able to fill in the appropriate blanks and send by e-mail. You will then just have to mail in your registration deposit separate. If you choose to paste the form to Microsoft, then you can print the form and mail it along with your registration deposit.
Finally, once received, your registration will be confirmed and Allison & Matthew will be looking forward to seeing you in mid-April for your first certified organic CSA pick-up.
